#4. Ride out the mood swings.
The emotional highs and lows of menopause can feel a lot like PMS, only amped up to ridiculous levels. The mood swings can sometimes be the most difficult part of menopause, but luckily, there are things you can do. Some women have found that practicing tai chi or yoga can help to ease their mood swings, while others have found success by simply making more time to do what they love. If your mood swings are bad, and nothing seems to work, talk to your doctor. They may prescribe an antidepressant, a low-dose birth control pill or an alternative method that could really make a difference.
#5. Clear up the mental fog.
Many women find that their brains start to feel “fuzzy” during menopause. That is why you need to find something to keep your brain sharp. Challenge your brain by learning something new, like a language or a hobby, you can also tackle crossword puzzles, read more often and play brain games.
