When you’re tired, you should rest! You’re not tired for no reason, and if you try to continue pushing yourself, you’ll only make the problem worse. #2. Eat healthy

If you choose the right options, the food you eat can help to fuel your energy effectively. When you’re pregnant and already dealing with fatigue, the last thing that you want is to fill up on empty calories that will fill you up but leave you feeling exhausted. Instead, eat a balanced diet and snack on foods packed with complex carbohydrates and protein when you need a boost of energy.

#3. Eat often

Not only should you fuel your body with the right foods, you should also fuel it up frequently throughout the day. Keeping your blood sugar stabilized by frequent snacking will help your energy levels to stay more even. Many women find that they do much better in terms of fatigue and nausea with six small meals during pregnancy than three large meals.

#4. Get moving

Exercise is probably the last thing you want to think about when you are already exhausted from pregnancy, but it can be a huge help where fatigue is concerned. Exercise, especially if you can do it outside, can help to normalize your circadian rhythm, which could help you sleep better at night. Exercise can also enhance your energy levels, and the feel-good hormones that are released during exercise can leave you feeling wonderful.

#5. Sleep more

While you certainly don’t want to spend the next nine months sleeping, it is important to get plenty of rest during pregnancy. You don’t have to sleep all day, but do aim to get a couple hours more per night. Getting plenty of slieep will make all aspects of pregnancy better, from your mood to your fatigue, so make it a priority to get plenty of it every night.
